You probably thought it was a typo right? Well, guess what? I make cookies too. And this is my famous Chocolate Chip Cookie Bomb recipe. It’s good. Real good. Yummy even.

3 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 Cups Brown sugar
3/4 Cup white granulated sugar
2 Whole eggs
1 Egg yolk
3 sticks of unsalted butter
2 Tablespoons Vanilla extract

12 oz chocolate chips
Add nuts as desired

Preheat the over to 350 degrees.

Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside. Whip the butter until creamy. Add the vanilla extract and eggs. Mix until incorporated. Add the both sugars and mix for two minutes. Mix in the flour/oats mixture a little at a time until it is fully incorporated. Add Chocolate chips and nuts last.

For extra chocolate flavor you can add cocoa powder or one grate chocolate bar to the egg butter mixture before incorporating the flour mixture.

Drop teaspoon sized chunks of cookie dough on a non stick cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 minutes. Makes about 36-40 cookies. Serve warm with milk.

Good times.
